The 2010/2011 Northern Cincinnati Poker Club season concluded on Saturday. Good luck Darren, Dave and Eric as our club representatives in Las Vegas.

Rich Goodwin and Jeff Miller will not be returning next season. Rob Hoover and Teresa Whitley are on the club waiting list and offers were sent to them. They have both expressed interest in joining the league.
We do have a couple more people that may not be able to return next season. If you know of anyone that would like to be added to our waiting list please have them contact me or another club officer. They will have to pay a $50 deposit to get on the waiting list. Mike Tincher has received a deposit from 1 person already.
Rule change voting was completed on Saturday. It takes a majority of the club members (11) to change a rule.
We had 18 club members vote.
Rule 1 (Failed) 9 For/8 Against – The Big Blind will continue to shuffle the next deck.
Rule 2 (Passed) 16 For/2 Against – We will use plastic cards next season.
Rule 3 (Failed) 6 For/12 Against – We will continue to have ante’s in the blind structure.
Rule 4 (Failed) 8 For/10 Against – We will continue to allow 3 subs per member per season.
Rule 5 (Failed) 3 For/15 Against – We will not allow a re-buy.
Rule 6 (Passed) 15 For/3 Against – A club member must notify a club officer prior to event 2 if they are going to share a club seat for the season.
Rule 7 (Passed) 14 For/4 Against – We will now award points for all 20 places.
Rule 7a (Passed) 13 Full pt /2 ½ pt – 1 Point for absent players or 20th place and 20 points for first place.
Rule 8 (Passed) 12 For/6 Against – $50 deposit to hold your club seat for the next season. Your deposit to hold your seat for next season is due by June 30, 2011.
Rule 9 (Passed) 18 For/0 Against – Rule has been added to the club rules for the High Hand payouts.
Rule 10 (Passed) 16 For/2 Against – We will have 2 events in January instead of February.
Rule 11 (Passed) 11 For/7 Against – $50 added to annual fees to increase the payout of event 10. Payouts for event 10 are in the updated rules.
