A note from the President

All,

I have heard several question whether we can change the blind structure, as they felt it went a little fast at the end of the night.

Unfortunately, we cannot change anything now that the season has started. I understand there are concerns, but it would be unfair to change something as central as the structure of the tournaments after the start of the season. We will definitely take your suggestions into account as we vote on rule changes for next season. We are in our first year, so we will be learning as we go.

In the meantime, everyone is now aware of the structure as we have now played under it. We can all adjust and take out the VP early in the tourney on the 26th.

If you have a suggestion for changing the structure, you can email me or bring the suggestion to any of our events and we will put it into the rule changes for next year.

Bill

Rule Changes

The VP is working on updating the rules and sending out the new copies. We will have everyone sign a new copy at the next event.

The outcomes were: The Proposed Rule to allow folks to play local passed. The additional funds will be distributed as $600 packages. The January date has been moved to January 9th.

Now that the season has started, we can't do any additional rule changes. The President will keep any suggestions on the list of items to be voted on at the April event for next year's club.
